Pada tahun ini Grammy akan diselenggarakan di Staples Center, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat tepatnya pada tanggal 12 Februari 2017 yang tinggal menghitung hari. Ajang penghargaan tertinggi buat para insan musik dunia ini akhirnya memasuki tahunnya yang ke-59.

Mereka yang akan memperebutkan piala Grammy Awards 2017 merupakan bintang-bintang terpanas pada tahun ini. Beberapa nama mungkin sudah kita kenal, namun ada juga yang masih tergolong baru.

Kalau mengintip sedikit nama-nama musikus dan penyanyi senior, sosok seperti Adele, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Demi Lovato, hingga Ariana Grande sudah tak asing lagi, bahkan di mata para remaja masa kini. Akan ada 27 kategori yang akan diperebutkan, mulai dari kategori pop, hingga aliran musik lain seperti rap, country, alternative, rock, R&B, dance bahkan theater dijadikan kategori nominasi dengan nama-nama musikus top di genre masing-masing.

Di ajang tahunan yang ke-59 ini, James Corden akan menjadi presenter Grammy Awards 2017. James menggantikan tugas rapper sekaligus aktor LL Cool J yang selama lima tahun membawakan acara ini.

Ada 84 nominasi yang sudah diumumkan dan akan memperebutkan gelar insan musik terbaik di tahun 2017.
